POWEREDGE CHARGES FORWARD WITH NEW SOLAR ENERGY COURSES IN PARTNERSHIP WITH PI BERLIN

Singapore, 8 June 2016 — In aligning with its mission of providing industry-relevant courses, PowerEdge has partnered with PI Berlin, an independent solar PV consulting expert, to develop new training programmes.

The month of April 2016 saw the first programme being run on ‘MasterClass in Design, Construction, Commissioning and Quality Control of Grid Connected PV Plants’.

“2015 saw a record-setting investment figure on renewable energy such as solar power from firms all around the world. Having been on the ground and speaking with our industry peers, we repeatedly heard the need for more practical and in-depth courses on solar that will allow attendees to work on future projects in the shortest time possible,” said Mohammed Fareed, Director and Co-Founder of PowerEdge. “PI Berlin is the indisputable best in its field and we are very excited about our joint collaboration with them.”

With its internationally-oriented engineering team, PI Berlin tests, designs and consults for solar power projects. Drawing from its long-standing industry experience in the field of photovoltaics (PV), its core specialisation lies in the implementation and quality assurance of complex PV projects.

“PI Berlin recognises the exceptional growth potential of solar PV in Southeast Asia. With a strong established presence in China and Japan, we are delighted to join PowerEdge to promote expertise and awareness of quality and performance in PV plants by offering technical training services throughout the region,” said Steven Xuereb, Head of Business Unit PV-Systems at PI Berlin.
