Online learning has grown significantly on a global scale over the past few years and the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), an agency under the Ministry of Human Resources Malaysia, had recently share the various schemes to enable and support online human capital development solutions.


This includes schemes which allow online training to be claimable as well as schemes that support facilities and equipment claimable for the online training to take place.



Applicable for HRDF registered companies only

1  Login to HRDF portal and launch eTRIS

2  Click on ‘Application’ icon

3  Click and open on the ‘Grant’ / ‘Claim’ from the menu

4  Choose ‘Apply Grant’ or ‘Submit Claims with Grants’

5  Fill in the online form and attach the supporting documents before clicking on ‘Submit’


*Documents required for grant / claim application varies. 



1. The grant application should be submitted by employers via e-TRiS at least one (1) day before the training commences.


2. The claim application should be submitted within:


> six (6) months upon completion of training (Grant schemes)


> three (3) months upon completion of the training and successfully obtaining the certificate, subject to the requirement of the scheme (Strategic Initiative schemes) with all costs paid beforehand.


3. Any applicable government taxes are not included in the course fees of PowerEdge’s online training sessions.
